We also interviewed two people; one who has been in the recreational leadership position and taught
different age groups and one who has been coached from the child age group up until the young adult stage
This chapter pays attention to the changes in thought, physical structure, and behavior of people as they
move through the development stages from infant to elder adults.
After discussing the development process of each age group the findings are then linked to the way a recreational
leader should interact with the participants they are working with.
